Sutter Health is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer for a full-time staff position located in Stockton, California. Join our team and play a key role in providing high-quality patient care.

  • Perform routine and specialized sonography procedures with high complexity in a timely and accurate manner
  • Gain patient and healthcare provider trust and cooperation through competent assessment, monitoring, and communication
  • Adhere to regulations, codes, policies, and procedures for optimal patient care and safety
  • May perform specific procedures and orient other staff as needed

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program
  • ARDMS (OB), NTQR, or FMF NT certification

Experience:

  • Sonographer - MFM II: 2 years of recent relevant experience
  • Sonographer - MFM III: 5 years of recent relevant experience

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Advanced knowledge of diagnostic sonography principles, procedures, views, and equipment
  • Skilled in performing sonographic examinations with an extensive understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Possess written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences
  • Strong time management, organizational, and computer skills
  • Can solve atypical or infrequent problems and support junior team members
