First (Days) (United States of America) The McLeskey Comprehensive Breast Center, part of Brock Cancer Center and Sentara Leigh Hospital, is hiring a Full-Time Mammography Technologist.**Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for qualified candidates**
Shift: Full-Time, Monday - Friday: Rotating hours between 6am -5pm; Saturday Hours: 8am-12pm. Only required to work 6 Saturdays a year.
Position and Department Overview:
Perform and analyze all diagnostic and interventional Mammography Procedures. Perform all quality control and quality assurance standards as prescribed by all state, federal, and local agencies. Provide the best patient care and practice radiation safety standards at all times.
The McLeskey Comprehensive Breast Center is among an elite group designated as an American College of Radiology Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. After rigorous evaluation, our center is NAPBC accredited in the three major areas of breast imaging and cancer detection: mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy and ultrasound-guided biopsy. Required Education:
Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology
Licenses and Certifications:
Required: ARRT registry in Mammography, ARRT registry in Radiography, Basic Life Support. ARRT Registered or Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must obtain registry within 90 days of hire.
