Radiology Technologist at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club:

  • Under the direction of radiologists and specialized physicians performs quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assists radiologist and specialized physicians with interventional procedures performed within the department and OR.
  • Practices proper aseptic technique within the sterile field.
  • Operates Radiology equipment safely and practices proper radiation safety techniques at all times, prints films and processes images via PACS and CR.
  • Must be proficient in performing routine diagnostic radiology exams using X-Rays and Fluoroscopy.
  • Must be proficient with routine portable exams and the safe operation of C-Arm equipment within the Operating room.
  • Requires flexible schedule and ability to take department call after hours, weekends and holidays.

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Graduate of an AMA – approved school of Radiologic Technology (AART)
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist – General License
  • Current BLS certification
