VSP Ventures has a fantastic opportunity for a full-time or part-time Optometrist to care for patients of all ages, visual conditions, and medical diagnoses in the diverse communities of Sacramento, Roseville, Elk Grove, Citrus Heights, and Auburn. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside other talented professionals and enjoy a flexible weekly schedule.
What you'll do:
As a full-time floating Optometrist, you'll provide comprehensive vision care to patients in modernized practices with access to behind-the-scenes diagnostic technology, including Optos, Pentacam, Visual Fields, OCT, Lipiview, Lipiflow, and other advanced technology-plus highly trained staff to support you throughout examinations. You can look forward to caring for approximately 22 patients daily.

Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
Working Conditions
The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
