Lead Swim Instructor Part Time • Suwanee Aquatics Team Leader Come Join an exciting swim school as our Lead Swim Instructor Responsibilities would include: Engagement with children/swimmers while smiling, singing, and having fun while teaching lessons Learning and teaching swimming techniques with an emphasis on survival skills With the help of the Aquatics director teach these techniques to all new swim instructors that join our program Observing classes and performing coaching reports to ensure proper safety protocols and swim techniques are being followed to British Swim School brand standards Contribute in monthly in-service meetings and on-going training for the instructor team Speaking to parents/customers about their children’s progress Work with Aquatics director to improve program and monitor progress of students Requirements: Current lifeguard certification preferred but we can discuss getting it completed Outgoing, contagious personality Willing to learn and able to follow franchise brand standards and guidelines Reliable transportation to commute to the pools in our area Willing to work during weekday afternoons and weekends Why should I apply? While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach. We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool.
