  • Assist (as needed) with tasks such as daily administration of the shop, routine maintenance, cleaning of shop equipment, etc.
  • Prepare work to be accomplished by examining routing instructions, manufacturing drawings, part list (bill of material) and identifying proper tools and materials required.
  • Mask and plug parts per drawings and/or specifications
  • Clean and prepare parts as required for powder / wet coating. May include sanding / grinding parts at times.
  • Strategically hang parts on powder / wet coat line(s), and mobile paint racks
  • Remove parts from line(s) / racks, verify quality is good and securely stack / package when complete. Make sure counts are accurate
  • Inform paint lead of any quality concerns observed
  • Properly clock in and out of each job processed via data collection hardware (Start time and stop time). Physically sign off on job routers once work has been completed for applicable work center.
  • Assist Continuous Improvement and 6S efforts
Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed
Other duties as assigned
Hours: 1st shift: 5:45am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday
Pay rate: $14-17/hour DOE

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $14.00 - $17.00
