Position Details

Provide quality services that support young adults ages 18-24 who are experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Services are client-centered, delivered in the community and office settings and intended to provide temporary housing and a pathway to independent living. The Housing Resource Specialist will conduct screenings and program intake, work with clients to identify strengths and barriers to stability, assist in locating and securing appropriate temporary housing, coordinate additional services and share program information with community partners. Positive outcomes are achieved through purposeful and respectful relationships rooted in trauma informed care, hope and cultural humility. An openness to embrace and explore bias, equity issues, successes and challenges from a place of understanding and curiosity is needed to succeed and develop in the position/organization.

Position Requirements
  • Completion of High school Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Drivers license and current auto insurance
  • Clean driving record
  • Knowledge of and / or experience working with young adults and / or in housing
