The Scrub Techs on the Healthplex Campus demonstrate teamwork, ensuring the sterile environment is maintained, and keeping a safe environment for our patients. They orient new Scrub Techs to all of their surgical areas by providing an extensive orientation with a dedicated preceptor in which Scrub Techs become proficient in all of their service lines. Scrub Techs will assist the surgeon during the operative procedure and maintain a safe and aseptic environment in the Operating Room area.   • Must have completed accredited Surgical Technology program or must have five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a Surgical Tech - Required
  • Recent clinical experience as a CST/Surg Tech - Required
  • Or LPN with one (1) year surgical tech - Preferred
  • National Certification - Highly Preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required
  • If Certified, Surgical Technologist must have current certification. - Required
  • Currently Oklahoma LPN license, if applicable. - Required

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
  • BLS

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Weekend Requirements : 1 full weekend of call per month
On Call Requirements : 5-7 days per month
