Verovian Nursing Agency is seeking an adaptable and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Float Pool in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) on night shifts in Tallahassee, Florida. This role is ideal for a versatile RN who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about providing high-quality care to critically ill patients across multiple units.

Job specification

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for those with life-threatening or complex medical conditions.
  • Administer medications, manage ventilators, monitor vital signs, and perform life-saving interventions when necessary.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient conditions, adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Float between critical care units as needed, adapting quickly to different team dynamics and patient needs.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and critical care procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection control standards, and safety guidelines.
Candidate requirements A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. 2-3 years of experience in critical care, ICU, or float pool nursing is required. BLS and ACLS certifications are required; CCRN certification is a plus. Flexibility to work night shifts and float between various critical care units as needed.
