As Structural Engineer , you will play a crucial role in our client's projects involving the design and engineering of balustrades, screens, louvers, and other structural elements for high-rise buildings across Australia. Working closely with their Head of Projects and Design Manager, you will be responsible for producing accurate computations and designs that adhere to Australian standards and regulations. Employment type: Full-time Shift: Day shift, Mon - Fri 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM Work setup: Hybrid, Makati Requirements Unlock Your Potential: Qualities We Seek Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design and engineering, preferably within the construction or building industry. Proficiency in AS1170.0, AS1170.1, and AS1170.2, with a strong understanding of Australian building codes and standards. Familiarity with AS1288:2021, AS5216:2021, AS/NZS4600, AS/NZS4100, and AS/NZS1664 is essential. Experience with structural design software & proficient with manual structural calculation. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct complex calculations and analyses. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work that meets regulatory requirements and industry standards. Any other task as directed by Management. Benefits Empowerment in Action: Your Key Duties Collaborate with the Head of Projects and Design Manager to develop structural designs for balustrades, screens, louvers, and related components for high-rise buildings. Utilize your expertise in AS1170.0, AS1170.1, and AS1170.2 to ensure compliance with relevant loading codes and standards. Apply knowledge of AS1288:2021, AS5216:2021, AS/NZS4600, AS/NZS4100, and AS/NZS1664 to produce designs that meet industry requirements. Conduct thorough calculations and analysis to ensure the structural integrity and safety of designs. Collaborate with internal teams to review and refine designs as necessary, incorporating feedback and making adjustments as required. Prepare comprehensive documentation, calculations, and reports to support the design process. Coordinate with third-party registered engineers in Australia to certify designs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Stay updated on industry developments, standards revisions, and best practices to continually enhance design processes and outcomes.
