Medical Scribe/Writer

Carolina Ophthalmology, PA is seeking a full-time ophthalmic scribe/writer for our Hendersonville, NC location, with occasional travel to other offices. Ophthalmology, optometry or prior medical experience is preferred, but not required. Carolina Ophthalmology is a physician-owned practice with a commitment to excellence in eye care. We seek an individual who will work well in a cohesive team environment, who makes high quality patient care a priority and who works well with physicians and staff alike. We are willing to train the right person with a positive attitude and great work ethic. Candidates must be professional, motivated, dependable and have strong people skills. Within this role, you will work hands-on with the physician and entering patient health information into the electronic health record. This person will also devote two days per week to supporting the physician's surgical coordinator with paperwork and patient contact for upcoming surgeries. Strong computer skills are an absolute must.

Carolina Ophthalmology is located in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains of western North Carolina with primary offices in Hendersonville, Asheville, Skyland and Columbus, NC and satellite offices in Spruce Pine and Franklin. It is composed of 8 Physicians and approximately 80 employees. It was established over 40 years ago. Experience

• Ophthalmology: 1 year (Preferred)
