What you will do in this role:
• You will design, implement, coordinate, and monitor changes as needed in a comprehensive clinical service program for Outpatient Programs' for patients and their families, including treatment and educational services
• You will ensure effective, flexible utilization of staff within staffing guidelines, taking into consideration the staff's competency and patient acuity
• You will evaluate staff performance and work-related behavior per policies, obtaining information from appropriate personnel utilizing effective coaching to enhance the performance of the employee

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State which you practice or must hold Compact/Multi-State RN License
• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in the field of Behavior Sciences preferred

• 5+ years' experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting offering a variety of treatment modalities required; 2+ years of leadership experience

Miscellaneous information that will be helpful in identifying qualified candidates:

Adult inpatient mental health care
For patients in need of 24-hour behavioral health services, we have a 26-bed adult inpatient facility on our hospital's campus. Our inpatient facility is open to patients 18 years old and older who have a primary psychiatric illness that may or may not be coupled with substance abuse.
The goal of inpatient mental health care is to stabilize our patients and provide the skills they need to cope with the challenges they face. Intensive inpatient treatment is provided by highly-trained behavioral health professionals who aim to help patients achieve mental, physical, emotional and social wellness.

Memorial Health provides compassionate behavioral health services for people dealing with mental health conditions and addiction disorders. The Southeast Georgia community has access to a full range of services in Savannah, including inpatient and outpatient care.
The goal of our mental health services is to address the physical, psychological, emotional and social needs of people who experience mental illness and help them return to a better state of mind.

Additional Information:
The eligible candidate MUST have experience as a RN in an inpatient behavioral health unit in an acute care system.
Position Directly Supervises: Nurses and PCTs in the unit
