ASI Hastings Inc has an immediate need for enthusiastic, self-motivated and HVAC Technician. Successful candidates are organized, able to perform in a fast-paced environment, and able to efficiently multi-task. This is an hourly, non-exempt, at-will position. Must be available to work full shifts plus overtime.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and conduct maintenance on air conditioning systems, furnaces, coils, and compressors
  • Demonstrate respect and compassion when communicating with clients on work performed and on recommendations for repairs or replacement
  • Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and/or records
  • Complete all tasks in accordance with Moore Home Services quality and safety standards
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities (internal and/or external)
  • Meet sales goals and metrics
  • Experience in setting units
  • Hands-on experience in brazing, zoning, mini splits, e-pumps.
  • Experience with all types of HVAC systems and how each component within the system operates; Experience with overall operations of the system as a whole.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work with high degree of integrity and promote positive company image
  • Analytical, Focused on Quality, and Results-driven
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
  • Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business
  • Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Valid driver's license, with minimal DMV infractions
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • 2 - 5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move objects 10 -20 lbs
  • Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders and balance
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
