Summary:

The ServiceNow Developer provides a key role in maturing the ServiceNow platform and service management practice. This individual is the technical design lead for ServiceNow code and architecture and works with key business units and process managers to build solutions and processes, supporting maintenance, continual service improvement, and new capabilities on the ServiceNow platform.

* Maintain knowledge of and follow all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
* Create and customize reports, homepages, and dashboards in ServiceNow
* Ensure the ServiceNow platform and tools remain current by performing testing and installation of ServiceNow updates, patches, and new releases
* Manage ServiceNow security by managing roles and access control lists
- Train personnel in ServiceNow use and processes to include creating supporting documents, user and training guides
- Work directly with end users to resolve support issues within service now
* Chief technical designer for ServiceNow code and architecture, responsible for overall ServiceNow code quality
* Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules, technical solutions, such as client scripts, UI pages/actions/policies, scheduled jobs, import sets and transform maps, ACLs and notifications
* Develop custom integration components (SSO, CMDB, SAS connectors etc)
* Integrate systems with ServiceNow using mid-server, web services, chat bots, email and other relevant technologies
* Develop existing and custom applications within ServiceNow.
* Create and use update sets to move customizations between ServiceNow instances
* Responsible for reviewing requirements to ensure that they are provided in sufficient detail to be accurately estimated
* Proactively keep ServiceNow skills current
* Troubleshoots and identifies root causes and documents problems of simple to medium complexity for assigned applications and systems
* Understands performance metrics, monitors system performance, and troubleshoots issues
* Researches new technology and recommends to leadership anything that would improve operations
* Leads efforts to define requirements, deliverables, objectives, resources, and project schedules
* Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information
* All other duties as assigned
* Perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow system, including making approved changes to forms, tables, reports, and workflows
