Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a seasoned mechanical engineer with a minimum of 10 years’ experience capable of developing mechanical designs for hydraulic equipment using AUTOCAD and Solid Edge. Additionally, candidates should be self-motivated professionals that can work with minimal supervision, have project Management experience, enjoy technical challenges and are looking for a long-term career.

In this position, you will be required to:

· Develop Piping Designs to support the manufacture of pressurizing, circulation, and cooling plants for the utility industry

· Design structural weldments

· Provide enclosure specification to house the above units

· Specify components to manufacture plants and provide detailed buy list to procurement for timely purchase and delivery to meet overall project schedule

· Work with the Electrical Design Engineer to integrate the mechanical and electrical designs

· Interface with welder during design and fabrication

· Interface with Client Engineer to satisfy client specification

· Manage project schedule for mechanical assemblies to meet overall project schedule

· Be familiar with ASTM Specs for material selection, welding, fabrication, inspection, and test

· Visit client/subcontractor facilities to review design, fabrication, and testing

· Provide timely response to field and client question/concerns

· Develop/Support/witness factory/field acceptance tests
