  • Kettering Health Medical Group, formerly known as Kettering Physician Network, employs more than 700 providers, including physicians and advanced practice providers, throughout the Greater-Dayton and Cincinnati areas.
  • Offering an extensive range of specialties and expertise, our physician practices provide comprehensive care at more than 200 locations and ten counties.
  • Our services include heart & vascular, orthopedics, sports medicine, primary care, and urology.
Responsibilities & Requirements

Member of the Kettering Health Medical Group (“KHMG”) Contracting department who assists with drafting and management of employed physicians’ and Advanced Practice Providers’ (“APPs”) contracts under direction of KHMG Contracting Manager.  Collaborates with KHMG leadership, employed physicians and APPs, and other various internal stakeholders, including, but not limited to, KPN  Human Resources, Finance, and Quality departments and  personnel from Kettering Health Legal Services and Kettering Health Risk Management departments.  Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and able to perform multiple tasks independently in a timely manner with utmost attention to maintaining confidentiality.

Job Responsibilities: 

Ability to plan, initiate, and perform responsibilities with a minimum of direct supervisionDrafting of legal documents, letters, memos, and summariesManagement of department E-mail and ServiceNowElectronic and physical organization, distribution, and filing of legal documentsCoordination of meetings and schedulingEstablishing a chronology of facts or file summariesExceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with leadership and physicians at all levels throughout the organization in a professional mannerPerform other duties and assignments as requested 

Education Requirements: 

Associate of Paralegal Studies minimum. 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience: 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience; law firm or corporate law department experience preferred. 

Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:

  • Paralegal certification preferred.
