Our state-of-the-art private practice is seeking a Dental Hygienist in Des Plaines with a $1500 sign on bonus after 90 days. We are looking for a candidate who is friendly, reliable, and team oriented. We offer a competitive salary and an excellent benefit package. Our office is equipped with all the newest technology. Dentrix knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
Maintain the highest level of professional standard of excellence in accordance with our office's needs
Carefully review patient health and dental history forms and update as necessary
Perform thorough prophylaxis
Remove calculus, plaque, and stain
Apply cavity-preventative agents such as fluorides and sealants
Administer local anesthetic agents, if certified
Utilize intra oral camera for patient education
Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
Sterilize dental instruments
Skills
Must be a great communicator and share important and vital information with the Doctor
A compassionate and friendly personality
Attention to detail
Value relationship building and patient education
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay : Range is starting at $46
