Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity

MLR Healthcare is partnering with a respected client in the area to find a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive, close-knit environment known for high employee retention and exceptional patient satisfaction

Job Details:
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Setting: Primarily outpatient with occasional inpatient coverage, focusing mostly on pediatric patients, with some adult cases
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients upon referral using various evaluation methods to develop personalized treatment plans with short- and long-term goals
  • Provide safe and effective speech therapy, addressing physical, mental, social, and emotional factors to improve quality of life and independence
  • Apply therapeutic principles with clinical judgment to monitor patient responses to treatment
  • Ensure timely documentation completion to support speech therapy service reimbursement
Qualifications:
  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the State of Ohio
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment
  • Basic computer skills required; prior experience with EPIC patient charting preferred
