We are currently seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at Hartford Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Position Description

The Physical Therapist administers medically prescribed treatments, evaluates patient's level of function, determines treatment strategies, and provides therapy services to identify, prevent, and rehabilitate physical dysfunction or pain.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough examination and evaluation of patient's level of function
  • Establish measurable goals with the patient/family
  • Implement appropriate interventions and clinical decision making
  • Provide patient and caregiver education
  • Participate in patient transition planning and discharge planning
  • Delegate patient care tasks and provide clinical supervision for students and assistants

Qualifications

  • Physical Therapy/Acute Care experience preferred
  • Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Active or temporary CT Physical Therapy license
