Identify, document, and manage non-conforming products, including quarantining and providing disposition when authorized. Plan, organize, direct, and report on special process-related activities to ensure compliance with engineering requirements. Assess raw materials quality and monitor the performance of special process service providers. Report laboratory testing results. Collaborate with other quality functions in testing activities, providing expertise and oversight. Provide thorough oversight and inspection of parts, materials, and processes to maintain high-quality standards. Skills: Proficiency in using various measuring devices and testing equipment. strong understanding of statistical control processes. Familiarity with First Article Inspections (FAI), Air Worthiness Certificates (AWC), and non-conformance management. Knowledge of special process specifications such as NDT, heat treat, welding, brazing, plating, and chemical processing. Familiarity with NADCAP accreditation processes. Excellent organizational and reporting skills. Moderate understanding of logistics processes (e.g., receiving, warehousing, purchasing) in a distribution center environment. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training).
