The Role:

The Quality Technician supports the business through quality minded processes and material improvements. The individual must work in conjunction with Operations management to develop and maintain accurate equipment logs, batch records, and standard operating procedures. In addition, it is expected that this individual will have the ability to not only identify improvement opportunities, but the drive to implement them as well.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform inspection and testing of in-coming, in-process and finished goods.
  • Inspect production related equipment for cleanliness prior to production use
  • Perform routine audits of processes and documentation
  • Initiate non-conformance reports for materials, products and processes found to be out of specification
  • Lead investigations with material suppliers to identify root cause(s) and corrective action(s)
  • Investigates pertaining to field complaints
  • Lead quality training
  • Develop and maintain production related batch records
  • Maintain files of all executed quality related documents (Batch Records, NCR, C of A, etc.) in accordance with cGMPs.
  • Assist with product validations
  • Track and trend quality related issues
  • Calibrate and maintain lab equipment

What You Will Bring:
  • ~3 years’ experience as quality inspector in a manufacturing plant processes or operations
  • Previous experience in final packaging inspection or quality inspection department for a GMP or other highly regulated industry preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Multi-tasking - keeping mental track of multiple projects and priorities
  • Basic understanding and experience with laboratory equipment and processes
  • Strong computer skills including ERP systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Must have good interpersonal communications skills.
  • Working understanding of manufacturing processes.
