Position Highlights:
  • Position: Certified Nurse Midwife - Maternal Child & OB/GYN
  • Location: Swedish Hospital, Chicago, IL
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
  • Hours: Monday - Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Rotating Saturday required.
  • Required Travel: n/a
What you will need:
  • License: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure in the State of IL required; Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License required
  • Education: Completion of Master's level program in specialty area
  • Certification: Certified Nure Midwife certification and BLS/CPR certification required
  • Experience: Prior experience in Women's Health required

  • Provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments
  • Promote wellness and prevent illness and injury in various settings for individuals, families, and communities
  • Work autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams as resources and consultants
  • Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
