TITLE: Substitute Custodian JOB SUMMARY: Maintains the Clear Creek Amana School facilities and grounds.
REPORTS TO: Building Engineer or Director of Buildings and Grounds
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work under pressure with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
- Physically able to stand, walk, climb, se hands and fingers to handle and/or feel objects, squat, stoop, kneel, reach above the head and push/pull or lift/move heavy objects
- Work in various inside and outside environments being subjected to weather changes and various noise levels.
- Has manual dexterity to handle pieces of custodial equipment such as vacuums, mop buckets, electric floor scrubbers, etc.
- Requires lifting materials weighing up to (seventy) 70 pounds on a routine basis and may be required to lift heavier items on occasion.
- Keep buildings and premises, including sidewalks, driveways, and play areas safe, neat and clean at all times. This includes thorough cleaning, scrubbing of floors, cleaning fixtures, washing windows, dusting
- Ensure doors locked after evening events
- Perform regular building checks
- Move furniture as required
- Perform snow removal when needed
- Other duties as assigned
