Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Emergency Room

Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, rotating weekends and holidays, usually every 3rd, no on-call

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • MI RN License
  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • TNCC
  • PALS
Other details:
  • Desired Unit Specific Skillset: Aseptic practice skills, patient monitoring, including EKG, invasive pressure, B/P, and SaO2, etc., caring for patients in the post-anesthesia period, calculation of drug doses and administer based on physician order, management of tubes, endotracheal tubes, tracheostomies, and patients on mechanical ventilation, clinical competency in conscious sedation
  • Charting Experience: Epic EMR, Pyxis medication management system, GE bedside cardiac monitors & telemetry, Alaris Infusion systems, Cisco & Responder 5 communication devices, Maxi Sky patient lifts, LifePak. Will train on EMR, Pyxis, GE monitors, Alaris pumps
  • Float Requirements (campuses and/or units): Possible float to Med/Surg
