Software Engineering Back End Lead

We're looking for a Back End Software Engineering Lead who is passionate about using emerging technologies to drive robust solutions.

About the Role:

  • Lead a diverse portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers in creating solutions to meet regulatory needs
  • Stay up-to-date with tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and contribute to internal & external technology communities
  • Collaborate with product managers to deliver powerful cloud-based solutions for financial empowerment
  • Utilize Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, Scala, RDBMS, NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and various AWS tools and services

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 6 years of professional software engineering experience
  • At least 1 year experience with cloud computing
  • 4 years of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • 9+ years of experience in Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud services
  • 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
  • 7+ years of people management experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile practices
