Coverage: Pediatrics

Weekend pediatric call coverage beginning in August.

Call coverage for OB and ER at least 3 weekends per month (Friday 6p Monday 6a).

The hours could likely be shifted if needed

Reason for coverage: Ped leaving call staff

Schedule/hours

Fri 6p - Mon 6am

Call schedule (i.e. 1:3 weekday and 1:3 weekend):Sole provider covering weekends

Call back % Avg 1 newborn delivery/day; ER call appr 1/weekend

Patient per day per physician- Max 5, usually

EMR/Documentation-Medhost

Support staff (Other MDs, NP/PA, RN etc)

-ER and OB physicians, staff RNs

Willing to consider non-licensed or IMLC providers

-Neonate APP

Board certification required or preferred?-Yes

Certifications required (ATLS, BLS, ACLS, PALS)

PALS, NRP
