Veracity Forecasting Group is part of the Sea, Land and Air Division within SPA. Our unique processes result in authoritative, data-driven analyses that assist enterprise managers in making complicated decisions. We offer our customers proven expertise in descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics; advanced mathematics and computational techniques (a.k.a. data science); and software engineering. SPA has a near term need for a Logistics Manager Specialist in Norfolk, VA.  Work is expected to begin in July of 2024.

Responsibilities

This position is located on Naval Station Norfolk, doing high visibility analyses on maintenance, readiness and cost, directly informing decisions on inventory sustainment efforts. You will be a subject matter expert on a team of quantiative analysts, understanding how to best direct analytic efforts to inform the customer's decision space. This teaming approach ensures the analyses are immediately impactful and your team's are actionable for decision makers. The Subject Matter Expert (Logistics Expert), along with each team's senior analyst, will ensure the quantiative analyses from the team are impactful for government leadership.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or related business discipline
  • 10 years' experience in Navy logistics / logistics AIS management
  • US Navy Subject Matter Expertise and strong understanding of supply and logistics-related systems
  • Current DoD Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Experience working with quantiative analyst teams
