Staff Accountant

An Accountant handles, prepares, computes, manages, researches and analysis all accounting data, to provide quantitative information on performance, financial position, solvency, liquidity and cash flows of the business. The accountant is consistently focus on teamwork, willing to go above and beyond to get the job done.
Accountant Responsibilities (based on the Accountant's respective division/companies)
- Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department
- Conduct period and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
- Managed all accounting operations based on accounting principles
- Assist in preparing documents and interpreting financial information for managers and executives
- Review all inter-company transactions
- Conduct period-end/year-end close process
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts
- Maintain company accounting procedures and processes
- Audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedure
- Develop procedures to improve efficiency
- Ensure and uphold company standards policies and procedures and be in compliance with all internal processes
- Assist with audits and taxes
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance
- Two (2) to five (5) years+ of experience in accounting
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license a plus
- Experience in the Big 4 a plus
