Job Title: Powder Coating Technician (2nd shift) Job Description • Ensures quality application of powder coatings to fabricated components. • Prepares manufactured products for powder coating by blasting and chemically washing off products prior to powder coating. • Assists moving carriages and carts in and out of spray booths. • Cleans and maintains powder coating guns and equipment. • Cleans booth thoroughly during each color change. • Troubleshoots powder coating equipment. • Touches up and reworks material, as necessary. • Performs any other duties as assigned or directed by Team Leader or as production needs require. • Maintains good housekeeping and follows established safety procedures. • Follows all policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analysis (JSAs), and Safety Manual. • Maintains awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; reports all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.
