Veterinary Assistant Supervisor

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supervise and evaluate technicians and medical personnel; conduct reviews
  • Inform management of operational and employee-related issues; collaborate on solutions
  • Manage client relations and staffing in Hospital Manager's absence
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with employee issues
  • Proactively resolve and deescalate any concerns while approaching discussions with empathy
  • Oversee department cleaning, stocking, and inventory
  • Collaborate with departments on patient care and operations
  • Perform technician or assistant duties as needed
  • Train, mentor, or onboard new and existing staff
  • Schedule and monitor staff; minimize overtime
  • Efficiently share hospital policies and any updates
  • Anesthetize and monitor animals under supervision
  • Perform dental prophylaxis and dental imaging

THIS ROLE IS OPEN TO A LICENSED TECHNICIAN OR UNLICENSED ASSISTANT - MUST HAVE LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE

Available Schedule: Full-time position, must be open to working weekends and closing shifts

  • We are open: M-F 7am-7pm
  • Saturdays 8am-5pm
  • Sundays 9am-4pm
