Job Overview & Responsibilities

The Senior Automation Lead is responsible for leading the requirements, design, and implementation for automation "accelerators" which will be utilized by our Oracle HCM and ERP SaaS Implementation teams. As the SaaS Automation and Tooling Lead, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our delivery capabilities by leveraging automation, cutting-edge technologies, and best practices to drive efficiency, accuracy, and agility in our implementation projects. This dynamic leader will develop the requirements, work with developers on the development and testing, and ultimately roll out these products to our customers and implementation teams. Mythics has a successful history of implementing Oracle HCM and ERP Cloud for customers, and is always working to provide customers with ways to implement more quickly, with higher accuracy, and at a lower cost and continued development of tools and accelerators will enable this strategy. You will work with our consulting and managed services teams to understand requirements and ensure that Mythics and our customers get the most benefit from tools created. You will work cross-functionally with other teams, including Consulting, Marketing, Contracts, Legal and Shared Service organizations across the enterprise.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

Strategy and Roadmap:

  • Develop a comprehensive strategy and roadmap for building automation accelerators and tools to support the implementation of Oracle SaaS (HCM and ERP).
  • Identify key areas for automation, process improvement opportunities, and innovative solutions to optimize implementation workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align automation initiatives with business objectives and client needs.

Accelerator Development:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation accelerators, templates, frameworks, and reusable components tailored to Oracle SaaS implementations.
  • Utilize industry-standard tools, technologies, and methodologies to build robust and scalable automation solutions that enhance productivity and reduce time-to-market.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for enhancing automation capabilities and driving innovation.

Tooling Development:

  • Design and implement tools, utilities, and scripts to automate repetitive tasks, data migrations, configurations, and testing activities associated with Oracle SaaS implementations.
  • Develop user-friendly interfaces, dashboards, and reporting capabilities within tools to facilitate visibility, monitoring, and governance of automation processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and iterate on tooling solutions based on feedback and evolving business needs.

Integration and Collaboration:

  • Integrate automation accelerators and tools seamlessly into existing workflows, methodologies, and project management frameworks used for Oracle SaaS implementations.
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among implementation teams by providing training, documentation, and support on automation best practices and tooling usage.
  • Partner with vendors, consultants, and internal teams to leverage external expertise and resources in accelerating tooling development and adoption.

Quality Assurance and Governance:

  • Establish standards, guidelines, and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and compliance of automation accelerators and tools.
  • Conduct regular reviews, audits, and performance testing of automation solutions to identify areas for optimization, enhancement, and refinement.
    • Implement governance mechanisms to manage access controls, versioning, change management, and security protocols related to automation assets.
    Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in technology, computer science or related field.
  • Minimum 12 years' in software development, automation engineering or tooling development, with a focus on HCM & ERP (preferably SaaS) implementations
  • Experience and understanding of the Public Sector marketplace and the needs of both Federal and State and local customers
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java), scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash), and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, etc)
  • Deep expertise in Oracle SaaS products, configurations, integrations, and best practices for implementation and customization

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven track record of success in designing, building, and deploying automation accelerators, frameworks, and tools in complex IT environments
  • Sound business judgment, strong sales, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Deep understanding of the SaaS implementation market, Oracle ecosystem and partner network
  • Flexible and agile in responding to evolving business priorities and dealing with ambiguity
  • Ability to collaborate across organization and with external stakeholders
  • Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
    • Strong time-management and organizational ability
    • Advanced presentation skills, with ability to guide and influence senior leaders, cross functional teams, customers and other key stakeholders
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
    • Ability to perform and multitask in a high pace environment
