Training & development

• Ensuring plant equipment is functioning according to specification. • Properly maintaining company assets, equipment, and machinery. • Properly repairing all company assets, equipment, and machinery and maintaining good documentation of work completed and maintenance schedules. • Working with Managers, Supervisors, Technicians, and other employees to ensure all equipment is in safe working condition. • Notifying the Tooling & Maintenance Manager, Supervisors, and other employees of any defect or unsafe condition. • Recording all maintenance and repairs in the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning Tool (IQMS). Confirm Preventative Maintenance is performed and logged into the system (database) correctly, receive and perform ad hoc work orders, log resolutions in the system, and run reports to analyze overall trends (time, material costs, etc). • Following procedures and ensuring they are accurately being followed. • Perform other duties, as assigned Ensuring all electrical systems in the Plant operate properly and are up to code. • Documenting preventive maintenance on forms and work orders. • Keeping oil leaks to a minimum. • Repairing all hydraulic needs. • Proposing recommendations to the Manager to improve efficiencies, safety, or decrease waste. • Ensuring work is completed in a clean, safe, and timely manner Experience performing preventative maintenance and machine troubleshooting • Specialized training: Electrical/Electronics & Hydraulic, Pneumatics, PLC experience • Industrial electrical experience (480 volt) • Use of various computer programs, including Microsoft Office and an ERP like IQMS (or SAP) • Experience with Band Saws, Reciprocating Metal Saws, General Saw experience, drill press, hand drills, torch, electrical meters and other assorted hand equipment
