Job Description:
- Implements plan of care for specific patient population.
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care in the peri-operative environment.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Certifications - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) OR
- Tech in Surgery TS-C - Certification - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- Licensed Surgical Technologist - Virginia
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Trade School Graduate - Surgical Technologist OR training from military or vocational school

Virginia Surgical Techs are required to be Licensed with the VBOM.
NBSTSA or NCCT certification accepted.
Licensed Surgical Technologist - State license - Other/National Required.
Licensed Surgical Technologist - State license - North Carolina Preferred.
Qualifications:
TS - Trade School Graduate: Surgical Technologist (Required) Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Certifications - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), Tech in Surgery TS-C - Certification - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), Ventricular Assist Device Certification (VAD-C) - Certification - ICCAC Operating RoomSkills
