To support the practice's goals of growing and expanding services available to the community, the business is looking to add an Associate Optometrist to the team of seven employees.

About the Associate Optometrist Opening

Greene County Vision Centers is seekinganAssociate Optometrist to provide quality and compassionate care to ensure optimal eye health. You'll have the unique opportunity to care for various patients and conditions, provide comprehensive vision services, recommend vision-enhancing products, and promote good eye health through patient education. On average, two to three patients are cared for hourly. The position can be full-time or part-time, 16 to 40 hours per week (no weekends required), with the flexibility to meet your work-life balance needs The practice is looking for a candidate who is excited to care for a wide range of patients and has a talent for developing strong relationships with patients, staff, and community members.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidatewill want to continuously develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and be willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.
