Senior Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Security Engineer to provide expert support in cybersecurity solutions and documentation. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams and clients, delivering presentations and technical expertise. This role requires a Secret clearance minimum, up to Top Secret.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Discover and document cybersecurity solutions and tools implementations.
  • Evaluate information assurance/security standards and procedures.
  • Support Authorizing Official (AO) actions by collecting and evaluating information.
  • Review and assess integration and implementation of security systems/solutions.
  • Perform gap analysis and provide recommendations for security architectures and solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 12-15 years of related experience or relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • CISSP or other IAT III certification.
  • 8+ years hands-on experience designing or implementing security solutions.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with enterprise security tools and technologies.
  • Understanding of federal cybersecurity guidance such as FISMA NIST SP 800-37.
  • Experience driving technical projects to completion.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong Systems and/or Network Security Engineering background.
  • Experience building security solutions in federal or large commercial enterprise environments.
  • Strong technical project leadership skills.
  • Additional certifications demonstrating cybersecurity/technical mastery.
