IT Project Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee and manage full lifecycle projects within the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in managing and delivering IT projects, particularly those focused on data migration, data configurations, and system upgrades. This role involves working closely with key stakeholders, end-users, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution, timely delivery, and high-quality results during the integration and refresh phases of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Lead and manage the end-to-end execution of IT projects in the healthcare industry, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
  • Data Migration & Configuration: Oversee data migration processes, ensuring successful transfer and configuration of data between systems. Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement data mapping and data quality strategies.
  • Integration & Refresh Phase: Manage and coordinate activities during the integration and upgrade phases, ensuring systems are fully updated and refreshed in alignment with business goals and compliance standards.
  • Stakeholder & End User Management: Serve as the main point of contact between stakeholders, project teams, and end-users. Regularly communicate project progress, risks, and issues to leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential project risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and track resolutions. Ensure project milestones are met and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Resource Allocation & Scheduling: Plan and allocate resources effectively, ensuring that the right skills are available to meet project needs. Create detailed project schedules and timelines, tracking progress and adjusting as necessary.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk logs, and post-project evaluations. Report on project performance and deliverables.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the established quality standards and requirements. Conduct regular reviews and validation of project outputs.
  • Compliance & Healthcare Standards: Ensure all projects comply with healthcare industry regulations, privacy standards (HIPAA, etc.), and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience managing IT projects, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Project Lifecycle: Proven experience managing full life cycle projects from initiation through closing, including managing integration, data migration, and upgrade projects.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong background in data migration processes, data mapping, and system configuration. Familiarity with healthcare data systems and standards (e.g., EHR, HL7, HIPAA) is a plus.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Experience working with stakeholders, end-users, and cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships and expectations effectively.
  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, or similar certifications are a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
