Who We Are Seeking:
Senior Helpers is seeking part-time caregivers to work daytime hours in the private homes of our senior clients who live in Prior Lake and nearby cities such as Shakopee and Savage. We require our caregivers to be available to work at least 3 weekdays every week for 5-6 hours, between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Our caregivers gradually build up their hours and then average 16-20 hours/ week.
Who You Are:
- Required: Experience (paid or unpaid) as a caregiver for adults or persons with disabilities
- Desirable: Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living
- Highly Desirable: Possess a PCA, HHA, CNA, LPN, or LVN certification
- A dependable, compassionate, and empathetic caregiver
- Desires to help others and provide high quality service
- Driven by making an impact and contributing to a better quality of life for the aging population.
Benefits:
- Base pay of $18 to $21 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
- Wow A bonus for every 100 worked in the calendar year that begins at $25 and increases by $50 each additional 100 hours

Essential Functions:
- Deliver exceptional care to clients in their homes who live in Shakopee or nearby cities
- Complete all activities of daily living in a safe and professional manner
- Supply personal companionship, remaining actively engaged with each client and their family
- Assist with care activities to include personal hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparation, and transportation
- Perform administrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks and reporting changes in the client's physical condition, mental capability, or behavior
