ARIZONA GENERAL HOSPITAL Responsibilities Provides oversight of the activities on a nursing unit during a specific shift including serving as a resource to staff directing patient flow assuring appropriate utilization of resources and providing oversight for the provision of quality care in a manner satisfying to patients.Position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the organization. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee will support the organization's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the hospital wide performance improvement plan. You'll advocate for your fellow nurses as you support them in reaching their full potential, which aligns with your department's operational goals and objectives. To thrive in this role, you need to be accountable and confident. You're an excellent communicator in 1:1 interactions and in front of groups. It's also important for you to be comfortable holding tough conversations, as you are responsible for the performance of your people and your unit. Full-time employees can receive up to $18,000 over five years, while part-time employees can receive up to $9,000. Advanced Practice Providers and Faculty Physicians can receive up to $90,000 if full-time and hired within a year of completing their residency or fellowship.
