More Smiles Dental Spa is now hiring a Full Time Dental Assistant in beautiful Mandeville, Louisiana

As a Full Time Dental Assistant, come join our community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business and operations professionals.

Full Time Dental Assistant Schedule:

Monday and Wednesday - 8:00am to 5:00pm (huddle is 8-8:30am)

Tuesday and Thursday - 7:00am to 4:00pm (huddle is 7-7:30am)

Friday - 8:00am to 1:00pm (huddle is 8-8:30am)

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Dentists chairside
  • Welcomes patients
  • Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
  • Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
  • Instrument sterilization according to regulations
  • Maintains accurate patient records
  • Lab tasks as instructed
  • Provide post-operative care instructions
  • Maintain clean and stocked operatories
Qualifications
  • EDDA preferred
  • Dental Assistant training/school certification
  • 2 or more years of dental assisting clinical experience
  • Cross trained with front office responsibilies preferred
  • Comfortable and up to date with new dental technology
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Experience with digital software
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
