Job Description:

Seeking a traveler for 40 hour, 8:00am -4:30pm Mon - Friday. No weekends, no holidays.
Statement of Purpose: Under the direction of Pathologist, the Cytotechnologist performs microscopic examination of prepared slides of gynecologic (GYN) and non-gynecologic (Non-GYN) specimens to arrive at a cytopathologic diagnosis, exercising independent judgment and delineating cases for review by Pathologists.
1. Education: BS and Certification by accredited school of Cytotechnology, or equivalent education acceptable to nationally organized accrediting agency.
2. Certification / License: Cytotechnology (CT), ASCP or NCA certification required
ASCP certified*
Minimum Lab experience - 2-3 years
Experienced with:
GYN and Non-Gyn screening*
Specimen preparation
ROSE procedures
Computer proficiency*
Aptima/Panther platform for molecular testing
*mandatory requirement
