Compensation: $55-$65 /hour DOE

This is a field position based out of our Greater Chicago branch

Will cover palliative care patients in Aurora and surrounding area

Must have a current Illinois NP License

Qualifications

Be the Best Palliative Nurse Practitioner You Can Be

If you meet these qualifications, we want to meet you

  • Graduated from an approved school of professional nursing
  • One year experience as a Nurse Practitioner required in CA
  • Previous experience in hospice, home health, general medical surgical or patient population specific (i.e.: geriatrics, pediatric, etc.) nursing
  • Minimum 1 year Palliative Care services experience preferred
  • Demonstrates familiarity with policies of the agency and state(s) and federal regulations pertaining to nursing services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in pain/symptom management and advanced care planning

Required Certifications and Licensure

  • Licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of agency operation with current and unencumbered advanced practice nursing license in state(s) practicing
  • Active DEA license in the state where care is being provided.
  • Certified by a nationally recognized advanced nursing practice organization
  • Possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role, preferred
  • Must be a licensed driver who can travel to all business locations
  • Must have reliable automobile, valid driver's license, and the minimum state required liability auto insurance
