Job Title: Project Manager/Administrative Support

Job Description

This position will support the Chief Engineer and their team in Product Development. We are looking for a proactive project manager/administrative support professional who can independently meet with project leads, check statuses, and come up with solutions to potential problems. The role requires ensuring timelines and deadlines are met effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams including finance, purchasing, planning, program management, engineering, and manufacturing.

  • Manage issues, timelines, and financials to develop programs on time and within targeted financials.

  • Support cost reduction initiative projects by establishing plans and progressing the project with a cross-functional team.

  • Establish, publish, and manage project metrics to ensure quality execution.

  • Track GPDS and process step progress and completion in line with approved project timing plan objectives.

  • Lead discussions with Platform and Hardware/Software teams using the Accessory PAT forum, establishing agendas, minutes, and attendees.

  • Support forums for program, vehicle, marketing, and manufacturing to provide status on projects and coordinate accessory development and delivery.

  • Manage different aspects of top-hat and platform program deliverables including planning, program control, and build phases for owned projects.

  • Coordinate action plans to resolve project issues and ensure program deliverables are on track by working with cross-functional teams to develop and execute recovery plans as required.

  • Develop presentations to clearly communicate the status of deliverables, identification of issues, and recovery plans to management and team members.

  • Support vehicle prototype planning and builds, and coordinate accessory functional sign-offs from various functional teams as required.

Essential Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to accept process disciplines, solve problems, and prioritize multiple projects.

  • Experience with business case development including financial analytics.

  • Hands-on knowledge and understanding of relevant systems and processes such as GPDS, FEDE, FEDEBOM, Global Integrator, CMF/CRF systems.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills for internal management interaction and cross-functional team meeting facilitation.

  • Self-motivation, hardworking, open-minded, and a phenomenal teammate with a demonstrated ability to show initiative.

  • Can-Do attitude with the ability to develop strong positive team relationships.

  • Ability to work within a hybrid work model policy.

  • Willingness to learn and teach, and to coach/transfer lessons learned to other analysts and program teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management and administrative support experience.

  • 3+ years of scheduling and tracking for agendas/projects.

  • Strong MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint experience.

  • Self-starter, go-getter, proactive, eager to support, and collaborative.

Work Environment

This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring approximately 3 days a week in the office at the Product Development Center. Flexibility is needed to support a global team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $32.00
