Cardiology Openings in Mason City, Iowa Located in Cerro Gordo County, Iowa - 80 miles from Waterloo, IA Compensation: 550K + bonus/benefits = Total compensation potential 660K Position Details: - Full-time, permanent position- J1 Eligible- FLSA Status: Exempt- Cardiology group of 13 physicians- Mix of outpatient/inpatient- Call 1:7 with APP assistance- 14-county referral base with 250,000 population draw area. - Local hospital has physician staffed ED & hospitalist services. - The physicians and staff are committed to providing patient care that is compassionate, appropriate and effective for the treatment of cardiovascular disease and the promotion of good health. - Regional referral area with full depth of medical specialty services available. Medical educational teaching opportunities through multiple programs including cardiology fellowship program. Hospital has fully staffed ED and hospitalist programs. Hospital services: Medical center is a level II regional referral trauma center. It is a faith-based, not-for-profit community health care system. The network spans 14 counties across northern Iowa and consists of a network of 8 rural primary care hospitals, Mercy Clinics, home health agency, hospice, senior services agency, regional referral laboratory, regional rehabilitation and diagnostic technology services, pharmacies, an emergency services network, and a variety of other health care services. 4 state-of-the-art cath labs.
