We are currently looking for a Full Time Maintenance Tech II to join our Construction Services Regional Maintenance Landscaping Unit team located at the CNDC Facility Maintenance working 8:00AM-5:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.

Summary:

Repair equipment and machinery in order to maintain building environment and grounds including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment as well as grounds keeping and repair services.

Responsibilities:

* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
* Secures building and occupants by maintenance of fire alarm protection
* Mows the lawn and cleans surrounding landscapes
* Maintains equipment/machinery, systems and building by completing preventive maintenance schedules
* Repairs basic machinery utilizing a basic understanding of machine design and repair
* Sweeps walkways, removes litter, empties exterior trashcans and maintains paved areas
* Maintains building accessibility by removing ice and snow from walkways and parking lot
* Maintains building climate by trouble-shooting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment
* Paints interior and exterior walls, trim, doors, fixtures and signs as needed
* Maintains facilities plumbing including fixtures and sprinklers
* Hauls files and boxes, moves furniture, sets up furnishings, prepare rooms for meetings, assemble public announcement and audio visual equipment following manufacturer's operating and care guidelines, and repairs and installs replacement parts to assure equipment is in working order when needed
* Performs all other duties as assigned
