HANDS-ON

$23.00 - $25.00/hour depending on experience

ALL ASPECTS OF THE APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED AND SIGNED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR A INTERVIEW.

IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE WITH DRY WALL, SPACKLING

WOODWORK REPAIR, PAINTING.

BASIC TO ADVANCED ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING. BASIC AIR CONDITIONING AND REFRIGERATION IS A PLUS

MUST BE A SELF STARTER, REQUIRING MINIMAL SUPERVISION.

THIS IS A HANDS-ON POSITION WITH ATTENTION TO DETAIL, WILLINGNESS TO TEACH.

HEALTHCARE MAINTENANCE TURNOVER EXPERIENCE, A PLUS.

YOU WILL BE WORKING DIRECTLY WITH THE MAINTENANCE/HOUSEKEEPING DIRECTOR , YOU WILL ALSO HAVE ONE ASSOCIATE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN TRAINING AND COMPLETING WORK ASSIGNMENTS TOGETHER - DEPARTMENTS WORK TOGETHER - MAINTENANCE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR TRASH COLLECTION.

YOU AND YOUR ASSOCIATE WILL IMPLEMENT A SCHEDULE SO EVERY WEEKEND IS COVERED.

What you will need for this position:
  • Oversee and provide daily maintenance for the entire community
  • Monitor and evaluate outside contractors
  • Arrange fire drills and maintain safety documentation
  • Develop and implement building and equipment preventative maintenance programs
  • Interview and recommend the hiring of new maintenance associates as needed
  • Must have general knowledge of all phases of building maintenance, to include electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, appliance repair heating cooling, and life safety systems
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years supervisory experience
  • Licensed HVAC Technician preferred, but not required
