The Pediatric Emergency Department at Inova Loudoun Hospital is looking for an experienced Emergency Registered Nurse
Schedule: Fulltime, Day shift
Strongly prefer 2 years minimum ED experience
Inova Loudoun Hospital is;
- Loudoun County’s only designated trauma center
- Joint Commission-certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center
- Named a U.S. News and World Report Best Hospital for 2018-19
- Recipient of the prestigious ENA Lantern Award
Job Summary:
- Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.
- Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
- Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes
- Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.

Requirements:
- 2 years minimum ED experience required
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
- If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.
- Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required
- CEN/ACLS certification desired
- Proficient in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others
- Proficient computer skills required.
