Job Responsibilities:

The Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing skilled rehabilitation services to patients in accordance with the Plan of Treatment. The SLP evaluates, plans and administers speech therapy modalities/regimens to clients in their place of residence for the purpose of developing and restoring function through rehabilitative speech therapy as prescribed by a physician.


Evaluates patient’s speech, language, cognitive/communicative status


Plans and implements effective and appropriate treatment in order to achieve that functional outcomes


Completes documentation meeting MedSide’s standards for content, accuracy, and timeliness


PRN (as needed)


Will cover entire Cobb County

Job Qualifications:


Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology required


Current SLP licensure, with no sanctions, restrictions, or provisions, in the state of Georgia


One year of previous SLP experience in a home health setting
