Ann Arbor, United States Galaxy Brain and Therapy Center Full time
Join Our Galaxy of Care and Change Lives - Including Your Own

Position: Full-Time/PRN Occupational Therapist - Community-Based Rehabilitation

Location: Wayne, Macomb, Washtenaw, Livingston, and Oakland Counties

Position Type: Full-Time / PRN

Imagine waking up every day excited to go to work, knowing that you'll be part of a team that doesn't just provide therapy - we ignite hope, spark joy, and fuel potential. At Galaxy Brain and Therapy Center, we don't settle for the status quo; we empower change and transformation in ways that ripple far beyond the therapy room. We're looking for compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapists who want to make a lasting impact on the lives of those recovering from brain injuries. Is that you?

Why Join Galaxy?

At Galaxy, your impact goes deep. Picture this: A client you worked with for months just landed their first job post-injury, and the first person they want to call and thank is you. They get emotional as they tell you how much your understanding and support changed their life and they just can't thank you enough. Think of a time when a simple breakthrough in a therapy session lit up your day because you saw firsthand the power of persistence and patience. Here, joy isn't a side effect - it's part of the job description

Our work isn't just about recovery; it's about helping people find their way back to a life they love. That might mean coaching someone through their first grocery store trip since their injury or giving a client the tools to live independently again. Every day, you'll experience how life-changing your role can be.

A Day in the Life of a Galaxy OT

As an Occupational Therapist at Galaxy, you'll:
  • Guide Life-Changing Rehabilitation: You'll work with individuals in all phases of recovery, from their first steps toward independence to finding their place back in their communities. Every therapy session is a chance to make breakthroughs.
  • Create Personalized Plans: No two clients are the same, so you'll assess and design unique therapy plans that respond to individual goals and strengths, helping clients overcome their obstacles and rebuild their lives.
  • Work in Real-Life Settings: By working in community settings, you're right where life happens, helping clients master real-world skills and experience their own successes where it counts.
  • Inspire and Uplift: You'll be part of a supportive team that cheers each other on - a team where everyone's goal is to help clients and colleagues succeed. You'll experience the joy of working alongside people who believe in what they do.
What Galaxy Gives You - Beyond the Job

Being part of Galaxy isn't just a job; it's a lifestyle that supports you both at work and in your personal life. Imagine how good your personal life could be if your work was filled with purpose, support, and joy . Galaxy is small by design, meaning you won't be just a number; you'll be known, valued, and part of something special. Our core values shape us, guiding every interaction and fueling our mission:
  • Build Trusting Relationships: Feel the power of genuine connections, where empathy and respect aren't just ideals - they're practiced every day.
  • Empower Positive Change: Watch clients reach milestones they thought were impossible, and take pride in your role in their journey.
  • Move Forward, Give Back: Embrace the spirit of progress and generosity that makes Galaxy a place to thrive.
Our Ideal Candidate

You're not just an OT; you're someone who cares deeply about the well-being of others and thrives on seeing people succeed.
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Michigan
  • Experience with brain injury rehabilitation? That's a plus
  • Skilled in building meaningful connections and seeing potential where others may not.
Ready to Change Lives? Yours Could Be Next

At Galaxy, we're looking for people who believe in the power of small steps and know that every milestone, every joyful smile, and every "I did it" moment makes a world of difference. If this sounds like the place where you want to be, apply today and join us in sparking hope for the future - for our clients, our communities, and you.

Make an impact. Find your purpose. Live your best life - here at Galaxy
