A Material Coordinator is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Dubuque, IA area. The Material Coordinator is responsible for managing the flow of materials and ensuring inventory accuracy in a factory setting to support production operations effectively.

responsibilities:

  • Coordinate schedule performance for procuring and expediting materials, including rejected materials.

  • Recommend procedures to maintain inventory accuracy and management.

  • Identify root causes of material shortages and propose solutions.

  • Utilize Master Schedule to create and distribute daily production schedules.

  • Process transactions for inbound/outbound materials.

  • Audit material replenishment cycles for accuracy and create replenishment plans with assistance.

  • Count and resolve inventory errors, expedite parts to ensure uninterrupted production.

  • Work on critical shortage reports to ensure material availability.

Skills:

  • Supply Management or Manufacturing experience.

  • strong people, communication, and relationship management skills.

  • Ability to analyze information for sound business decisions.

  • Collaborative teamwork skills.

Desired Skills:

  • Two or more years of experience in Supply Management or Manufacturing.

  • Material Flow experience with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in SAP and data analytics.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Management, Business Management, Information Technology, or Engineering discipline, or
