As a Senior Software Engineering Manager, you'll play a key role in driving significant transformation within our company.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Leading a diverse portfolio of technology projects and managing a team of skilled developers focused on distributed microservices and full stack systems to create essential solutions that address regulatory requirements.

  • Staying updated on tech trends, experimenting with new technologies, participating in both internal and external tech communities, mentoring fellow engineers, and occasionally writing or reviewing code.

  • Collaborating with digital product managers to build robust cloud-based solutions that enhance experiences for millions of Americans, empowering them financially.

  • Utilizing a range of programming languages, including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, along with Open Source RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as various AWS tools and services.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering (internships not included).

  • At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in people management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree.

  • Over 9 years of experience in programming with at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.

  • 3+ years of experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or similar).

  • 4+ years of experience with open source frameworks.

  • 7+ years of experience in people management.

  • 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.
